Requirements

Each Windows® machine that accesses the MooseFS cluster needs to have the MooseFS Windows® Client installed. Network access to all components of the MooseFS cluster is required for the client to function properly. This means that the client machine needs to be able to communicate with all Master Servers and Chunkservers of the cluster.

Supported version of MooseFS Cluster components​

  • 4.42.0 and higher

Supported Operating systems​

MooseFS Windows Client supports only the following 64-bit operating systems:

  • Microsoft® Windows® 10
  • Microsoft® Windows® 11
  • Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 R2
  • Microsoft® Windows® Server 2012
  • Microsoft® Windows® Server 2016
  • Microsoft® Windows® Server 2019
  • Microsoft® Windows® Server 2022
